Garnet Barnsdale is the DRF contributor for the Woodbine/Mohawk circuit in Canada and has written for many publications around North America.  Barnsdale helps the duo by providing insight and analysis to races, while also helping with pre/post-race reporting.

Our Mission

Allison Conte works on social media and many other tasks within the Untied States Trotting Association.  While wearing many hats, she also helps the Post Time with Mike and Mike live broadcasts by providing winners circle reaction and pre-race interviews.  Allison also assists the team by providing photos for social media use.

Rich "The Natural" Mattei, is currently the photo finish/Tele-Timer operator at Harrah's Philadelphia. He got his first job at Monmouth Park grooming horses at the age of 17, including his love of athletes themselves, he has an intrigue in the art of handicapping and picking winners.  He has gone around the country entering handicapping contests, having success winning contests at tough tracks such as Saratoga and Delaware Park.  Mattei aspires to be a full-time track announcer and has filled in at many racing venues.  Mattei assists the duo with his expert analysis.

Tom Daly, a 2002 graduate of the USTA Driving School  joins the duo as a photographer for their social media outlets during live remotes.  Tom's first visit to a racetrack came in 1999 when he visited The Meadowlands and was instantly hooked.  He taught himself to handicap races and works during the summer at Marveland Farms in Flanders, New Jersey.  Daly studied at Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey while studying business, politics, and some equine courses.  Daly has a goal of someday having a stable of his own and being able to drive in the Hambletonian. 

Photographers to positively promote the sport of harness racing. Every hoof that hits a racetrack has a story to  tell, whether a claimer or a stakes horse, and we plan on telling those stories on Post Time with Mike and Mike. 

Mike Carter started practicing calling races in the grandstand at Colonial Downs, before becoming the caller at Shenandoah Fair. He got his first pari-mutuel announcing job at Buffalo Raceway, where he served in a variety of roles. After a two-year stint in Bill country, Mike accepted a position at Northfield Park as the Asst. Director of Mutuels and back-up race announcer. 


Kaitlyn Wiggins is a 2017 graduate of the University of Akron.   She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work.  Kaitlyn assists the duo by also helping take photos and running the duo's social media pages while at live remotes.

Jessica Otten is a native of Michigan and is currently enrolled at Mott Community College, majoring in business management.  She started making her presence felt in the sport of harness racing by providing behind-the-scenes access to the happenings at Northville Downs.  She has helped the Post Time crew with many of their live remotes in 2016-17.

Taylor Johnston currently works at Scioto downs as a Press Box Assistant.  Johnston started her passion for harness racing at sixteen when she became a groom for a first time trainer at Scioto Downs.  Over the years she has been exposed to all sides of the industry, from participating in the USTA driving school, to helping with social media at big events such as the 2016 Breeders Crown.  Johnston is currently enrolled at Otterbien University where she is studying Equine Business Management. Mike Bozich got his start announcing greyhound races at The Birmingham Race Course in 1998. After a stint in radio in the Chicago land area (where he grew up), he went to Hazel Park Raceway. There, he worked in many capacities including announcer for 10 years. He is now going on his third season as the track announcer at Harrah's Philadelphia.
